About 9 days ago Jackie our best kitty ever came limping up to me early morning…I noticed that his back leg was completely twisted and he couldn’t put any pressure on it.

Come to find out he fractured 3 of his toes…not sure how but he has been laid up ever since. I really feel sorry for the lil guy (actually he is 13lbs) cause he is the ultimate outdoors cat and now he has to be indoors for another 4 days!

What a great week, minus the cow attack, but we had such a fun time hanging with Wayne, Margarita and Anna on their first visit to ‘Rickani Ranch’

So in one of my previous posts I had taken some shots of the cows we had here grazing…now I am posting some shots of my bruises from my attack by M22.

After a week of tracking this cow and trying to get it in the round pen I finally managed to capture the lil bugger, well he decided to blind side me, picked my up off my feet and slam me into the side of the round pen. At this point of being tossed down, I try and get my footing, finally as I get up he rams me again, I proceed to punch him in the head, he then gets even more pissed off and charges again picking me up and slamming me across the opposite side of the round pen. I finally pick up a rock and punch him in the head get my footing once again, I twist his horns and push him down to the ground and jump free.

Now, I am not one for using curse words but I think in my struggle to get free I must have used every curse word known to man and some made up ones of my own.

Needless to say I am very soar, bumps and bruises to my head, neck, shoulder, arms, legs and back. My side aches when I breathe and it is hard to turn off of my left leg.

Went to the doctor’s they did an MRI and found that I have severly bruised ribs and should heal in a month or so…
