Yesterday Rick and I went on a spontaneous road trip to the Edmonds ferry terminal and over to Kingston on Kitsap Island, which is a 100 year old lumber town founded in the 1800’s with a population of about 2800. It was a beautiful day, the weather was stormy but with beautiful sun breaks in between. I’ve always loved the dramatic clouds that hover over the water and to take a ferry ride was an added bonus; it brought back memories of living on Quadra Island. I definately would like to go back and explore this quaint lil town some more, maybe we will make the trip in April for the Port Gamble Sunday Market.
Here are a few shots from the day, I used my Canon Rebel xTi which I need to get more acqauinted with because it is a heck of a camera.
