Dr Gregory came out this morning with his assistant Anna to remove 4 of Rain’s baby teeth that were hindering the growth of his adult teeth and I snapped a few quick shots to share

So today Rick brought out the guns to let Dan and Therese have some practice firing semi-automatics, I think they were more interested in posing…don’t they look cute?
After riding quads on trails in the snow I knew it wouldnt be too long before Rick and Dan would become bored and come up with something totally off the wall to keep them preoccupied…

I’ve been really sick now for the past few weeks with one of the most dreadful flu conditions I think I’ve ever had. It is not often that I even catch a cold let alone this tormenting flu. However, I still manage to keep the camera handy; it is simply amazing how playful horses are…a simple increase in the wind, rain, snow and even the very presence of bambi and off they go running and bucking

AT THE HEIGHT OF THIS EVENT…SUSTAINED WINDS COULD REACH 50 TO 70 MPH WITH PEAK GUSTS
OF 70 TO 90 MPH. COMMUNITIES IN EASTERN SNOHOMISH COUNTY SUCH
AS SULTAN AND GOLD BAR COULD ALSO EXPERIENCE WINDS APPROACHING
THIS MAGNITUDE.
THIS EVENT COULD RIVAL A SIMILAR FOOTHILLS WIND STORM FROM EARLY
DECEMBER 2003. DURING THAT EVENT…NUMEROUS TREES WERE BLOWN
OVER…BLOCKING RESIDENTIAL STREETS AND MAJOR HIGHWAYS ALIKE…
INCLUDING HIGHWAY 18 NEAR TIGER MOUNTAIN. POWER WAS KNOCKED OUT
TO MANY RESIDENCES AND BUSINESSES FOR AS MUCH AS A WEEK.
PREPARATIONS FOR THIS WINDSTORM SHOULD BE COMPLETED BY THIS
MORNING. BE SURE TO HAVE ENOUGH SUPPLIES ON HAND TO LAST FOR
SEVERAL DAYS SHOULD YOU BE STRANDED AT HOME.
IN ADDITION…WIND CHILL READINGS DURING THIS EVENT MAY BE NEAR
ZERO WITH AIR TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER 20S.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS THAT A SEVERE HIGH WIND EVENT IS
IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. SUSTAINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 50 MPH…OR
GUSTS OF 75 MPH OR HIGHER WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE LOWLANDS.
RESIDENTS AND LOCAL OFFICIALS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD BE
PREPARED FOR WIDESPREAD DAMAGE AND POWER OUTAGES THAT COULD LAST
FOR MORE THAN A WEEK.
