So we got a really out of the blue call from our friend John, he lives on the island next to our old place in Canada. He is back in the states for the tradeshows and decided to pop in for a visit…

Well no one stops by Rickani Ranch and leaves before heading to the shooting range!

I’m working on three projects that need to get finished fairly soon so the blog will be on hiatus for awhile unless I get a moment to share something.

As you noticed I modified the look of the blog a couple nights ago. I think this time I’ll leave it for a bit. I just seem to have liked the old theme for so long until recently…

Forcasters said it would rain in the PM but once again it is snowing and blowing.
I have never experienced such a “mild winter” as many predicted
Even Tuki is nestled and ready for bed and it is only a little after 7pm.

I miss riding was my one thought today…after being sick for over 4 weeks I was out in the barn and thought if the road was less icy it would surely be nice to saddle up and head out for a quick ride with Indy and Rain.

Hmmm, I sure am looking forward to warm days, trail rides and long hikes, especially since Bas is getting soo BIG and cabin fever may be setting in…I mean even Rio, our lil fat boy pixiebob is running outdoors everytime we head out the frontdoor.

Well I guess a nice glass of Menage a Trois wine and some quiet time is just what the doctor ordered…

BTW, my New Year’s resolution is not to have one, but to continue living life each day in blessed contentment!
