No Comments Different Perspectives…Shooting from the Hip
Today I came up with a pretty good idea of using my old D70s for trail riding. It is still in good shape but I would rather take it than the D2X when I’m riding on horseback. Since it was Rain’s turn to take out riding, this was the perfect day to test out how my shooting from the hip technique would work on horseback.
I had the camera slung across my right shoulder; shortened so the strap wouldn’t hit the horn or have a chance of getting caught on anything that could put me in danger.
All pictures were taken on Manual settings on the Nikon D70s, jpeg fine and the lens was the Nikkor 50mm 1.8.
Today was a very overcast day, Rain and I headed out on the trails around noon and were gone for the better part of 2 1/2 hours.
All photos were edited using my custom recipes in Nik filters.
