About
Name: Ani (pronounced Ah’nee) Trone
Things that make me go hmmm [sigh] in a good way: Rick, horses, photography, hiking, watching mma and wwe, kayaking, fishing, playing with my lil yorkie Tuki, singing loudly while alone in my office late at night, fire in a wood burning stove, eating organic and breathing clean fresh air!
I love westerns and miss hearing my dad’s stories of hunting and fishing and growing up a boy in Belize. My Scottish grandmother was an inspiration and my mother, I am proud to be me…a Belizean, Mayan Indian, Nicaraguan and Scottish girl living life with my best friend and soul mate…my name is Ani Trone!
Why I Blog
This site was originally created so that Rick and I could keep in touch with family and friends once we ventured to our new horizons and adventures away from sunny SoCal after becoming husband and wife; since then it has also been a creative outlet for my love of life, love, photography, and horses…I hope you enjoy seeing the world through my eyes!
Photography
My love for photography began at an early age, I seemed to always be the one person behind the camera. About 13 years ago, my hubby bought me my first digital camera; after shooting 3 months in ‘auto mode’ I decided to live life on the wild side…I started shooting manually!
Once I discovered that the other features on my Sony DSC-F707 where not there to just ‘look pretty’ it opened my eyes to learning all I could about photography. Being surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Canada, I would hike for hours taking in the scenery and capturing it to share with family and friends. Soon after I started anitrone.com, I figured this would be a great way for family and friends to log on and view our lives and the places we ventured anytime they wanted to.
Recently, my hubby and I moved to PNW and I began to live out a long time dream, one my father always thought I was suited for; a life living in the country and owning horses. He was right and since then my photography has been affected by these beautiful and majestic creatures. While my goal is to expand into all fields of photography, I am enjoying the current state of it’s being, which is equine photojournalism or what I like to call “horse paparazzi”.
IndyRain.com
Currently, I have a showcase for my equine photography inspired by my two horses Indy & Rain. indyrain.com is another website that will most definately change over the course of time, not only becoming a place to share my digital images and love for my horses but that of other people and their horses.
For now my blog, my life, my love, photography and horses will be archived here at anitrone.com where I can reflect upon and stay humbled to the simplistic , yet joyous things around me.
