I guess I’m feeling a bit nostalgic, this flu bug has one of the worse lethargy feelings that comes along with. I’m on day six and although it hasn’t gotten worse its still running its course. But good music and memories make up for this downtime.

Kree Harrison’s voice, reminds me soo much of my dad. This is the music he loved and listen to every Sunday morning, I may have been born and raised in the city but the heart of our home was country music, the heart of our home was daddy!

He would have loved listening to her voice…

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are always so poignant with how they incorporate their passion of country music into daily life and this song last night on the voice showed some raw emotion for the families suffering in Oklahoma.

My prayers go out to my family and friends in OK that have been affected.

I absolutely love that my friends and family are using Facebook to celebrate Mother’s Day and thought the sentiment of everyone posting pictures with their Mama’s for Mother’s Day was soo sweet and appropriate.

Here is a picture of my hero, my lovely Granny that raised me from a baby and still to this day her words remind me of who I am.

I love you every minute of the day, always!
