make awareness! So I decided to reintroduce myself to my bookshelf this weekend and I have been going through my little collection of photography books that teach me and inspire me.
One book that truly sticks out of all books on the 2nd shelf is Joe McNally, “The Moment it Clicks”. I wish this book was available as a pocket sized guide in addition to it’s original format, there is just soo much meat and guts to Joe’s approach and to his photography that it is insane how much talent one person can have to share and might I add so willingly.
I also found the promotional video Nikon put together to support the book, you can just tell how much Joe loves his talent and how important it is in the photographs he shares with everyone in the book.
Enjoy, this truly is one that I will reflect upon time and again.
Plus check out the light setup with all the SB-800′s in the desert shoot below, CRAZY!
So last night I unpacked some lights to sell on ebay and decided to take some quick shots of Tuki, I think he was a bit annoyed with this huge light pointed in his face but he still looks cute as ever!
All shots taken with Nikon D80 and 18mm – 55mm lens with a Smith Victor flood light, both light and camera handheld.
Even if you are an amateur photographer like me, a serious hobbyist like me, a longing and hopeful professional like me, or just someone normal like me! You will LOVE IT!
You definately, for sure, undoubtebly need to watch it…absorb…and be inspired by it!
This video is from Scott Kelby’s Blog and Zack Arias is the guest blogger/photographer for this Wednesday’s edition!
Rick came home from running errands, Tuki and I needed to get out and get some sun, especiallysince the Doc says my vitamin D levels are way low.
So we collared Bas and Tuki and off we went. On our way out I think Indy and Rain wanted to make a break for it as well…[see pics below].
The lighting was just soo lovely on the trails, I am glad I brought along my D70 Digital Camera (Body Only) with the Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR Zoom Nikkor Lens
it was just a pleasant and peaceful hike…
