Some pics from our venture through the Cascade Loop. This was a total spontaneous trip so nothing was planned, it was just a nice day to take a long drive and see the sights. We started through Arlington/Darrington, then through the North Cascades National Park, stopping in Winthrop and then making out way back down through Chelan, driving along the Columbia River then through Wenatchee , Leavenworth and back home again. We’re hoping next time we take time to hike some trails and stop off more often rather than driving straight through. All in all it was a spectacular drive and time well spent with my hubby!

I got a hold of some expired/undated Kodak Professional Color Film 160 on eBay for next to nothing and popped it in the Nikon FE. These are just test shots but I tried to make them interesting enough to not just waist film.

I was actually surprised the results weren’t too bad. A lot of blues and greens, more so than I care for since I love warmer images but here are some sample shots with a couple bw’s processed in Nik Silver:

I’ve been meaning to post this for some time now. I finally got the light right in the morning for this shot. It totally reminds me of the hymn my sister Therese always sings so this ones for her.
