I have been more and more impressed lately by so-called virtual artists.

I wonder if we will someday as a society achieve a level of respect for artists such as yourself who use computer software to create as the level we respect for artists who use paint, brush, and canvas.

My guess is yes.  100 years from now my guess is art created with programs such as Corel and Maya will be highly respected.

Artists have always sought out new mediums and new technology.  At the same time artists have also embraced the past.  Many of the masters of the past renaissance and other notable art eras were infact using state of the art painst, canvases, and techniques to create their masterpieces.

Currently, I think the mindset of humanity is to not acept virtual art as true art.  If people would only try creating their own art with Corel or Maya they woudl see it takes talent and effort.

I suspect this attitude will change over the next few decades.</description>

		<description>I cloned image and painted from there...it is alot harder than it sounds to geat the right look and feel.

I think with practice I will achieve better results, but for now it is great fun!</description>
