So I’m entertaining myself in the nerdiest way, taking pics of my lil guy being, well himself!
Love me my Tuki Yorkshire!

No Comments Since Rick and I updated our ancient cell phones and become cool and techie with our new HTC Sprint phones I rarely miss moments because it so convenient to have a camera on my phone with me at all times. I know that the quality of the photos would be better if I was using my Nikon DSLR but I must say it is such a fun way to capture some nice moments and to share them with friend and family. Below are a few from yesterday and today.
Horses
No Comments Wild Wood Farm is located in beautiful Oak Harbor, WA where our friends and horse trainers Quinton and Danielle train some of the most beautiful horses for show and their clients. I could have stayed there for ever taking pictures, especially on such a beautiful day like today but the time was not allotted for…maybe next time.
Here are two quick shots that I took visiting today.

No Comments Taken with my HTC phone while doing pasture cleanup, I know…glamorous right?!

No Comments The boys usually start acting up during the evening as I’m finishing up on my pasture chores, the running bucking and hi-jinks are always fun to watch but never easy to capture. Until tonight when they were not shy in front of the camera. Here is a little video I put together of Rain and Cimarron showing off their “moves like jagger”!

No Comments This is a slideshow I did awhile back when visiting my family and friends for my niece Victoria’s wedding. Her brother Victor and his wife Raylene brought over my grand nephews Dominic and Andrew whom I had never met and the family was overjoyed at having small babies around. Enjoy Bellas!

No Comments Walking the pasture cleaning up after a rainy night and turned to see this beautiful shot of Cimarron just outside the ray of light coming from the sky just falling before him. I’m still getting use to having a smart phone but I just love being able to take photos anytime I want. I found out that the HTC EVO 4G Android Phone (Sprint) can really handle some nice lighting situations, plus close ups but I did notice that with such harsh light coming down it did cause a little bit if distortion but none the less still love the capture anyways.

No Comments Rick and I recently paddled out in our fairly new Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 Sit On Top Kayak 2011 to Spada Lake. It was a chilly morning for August and the cloud coverage gave way for some dramatic light/shadows. We brought our fearless buddy, Tuki Yorkshire along for the maiden voyage. I’d have to say these kayaks are comfortable, easy to maneuver and perfect for carrying all the camera gear I was packing that day…and it kept my lil buddy safe and dry
Below are some pics I took with my Nikon D90 with the lens kit 18-105mm I added a little 70′s vintage to the photos because lately I’m just feeling it thata way!
Enjoy Bellas, Ciao for now!
