First Panorama using Photoshop CS5

Okay so now that I have my computer fixed, reformatted and back up running I thought I would play alittle. I purchased the new Adobe CS5 extended a week ago and I am just getting around to working with the new features, namely the Content Aware tool. There seems to be a bunch of new features that will really make editing photographs a breeze…checkout Adobe TV and watch some of the videos on Photoshops latest and greatest you will be blown away!
Below is my first panorama using CS5…it is not the best but I had this sequence of photos from my hike a couple weeks back and thought I’d play around with it; not bad for not planning this out IMHO :P

Creamy Tuscan Chicken

We had the recipe off the Foster Farms Chicken family package you get from Costco…it was AWESOME!

Next time I think I will add some chopped shallots and diced Romas…

Creamy Tuscan Chicken

Ingredients:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
2 T olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 C white wine
1 C sliced mushrooms
1 C heavy cream
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 C Parmesan cheese, grated
1 C (packed) fresh baby spinach leaves
1 C fresh basil (rough chopped)

Directions:

Salt and pepper chicken breasts, then saute in olive oil over medium high heat about 8 minutes per side; set aside.

Add white wine to hot pan; reduce it by half, then add mushrooms and saute 4 – 5 minutes. Add cream, garlic, and Parmesan; bring to a simmer. Add spinach and basil and cook on low until spinach is tender. Add chicken and simmer about 5 more minutes until done (chicken should be 165 degrees F internally).

Stillwater Ranch Voted “Best” by King 5 News!

Well, somehow Stillwater Ranch was tossed into the mix of nominees for “Best Dude Ranch” in the Northwest and we won! King 5 News/Evening Magazine came out and did a feature on us last Sunday and it was awesome. Dalton, Kelly (wrangler) and Barb guided the guest including the birthday girl and her entourage up the mountain while I guided the the camera man, producer and Dan as wrangler for team “Ani Oakley!”

Here’s a pic Dan took of me and my horse Rain along with the camera man’s horse “Frankie” as we waited for things to getting “bucking :)

Cimarron – Training Day

Our friends and horse trainers Quinton and Danielle of Desfountain.com graciously offered to help me get Cimarron started under saddle. So yesterday Cimarron and I took the 2 mile walk to the barn where Quinton and Danielle train their beautiful Arabian horses. Below are some pics from yesterday.
