Walking back from feeding the duckies I was soo privileged to witness the sun breaking through the mist and clouds to let me have this quick snapshot over the barn. Wish the horses had stuck their heads out of there stalls.

My back hurts, my knee that I torqued walking down Queen Anne hill 17 years ago hurts, it March for crying out loud and the cold keeps on coming…16 degrees tonight and a high of 33!

Video made with Nikon Nikon D90 DX and Nikkor 10.5mm lens…will definately have to experiment more with the new D90!

So today Rick brought out the guns to let Dan and Therese have some practice firing semi-automatics, I think they were more interested in posing…don’t they look cute?

I’ve been really sick now for the past few weeks with one of the most dreadful flu conditions I think I’ve ever had. It is not often that I even catch a cold let alone this tormenting flu. However, I still manage to keep the camera handy; it is simply amazing how playful horses are…a simple increase in the wind, rain, snow and even the very presence of bambi and off they go running and bucking

Here are a couple quick ones from the day:

This morning Rick and I brought Bas out to play in the sun…he reminds me alot of Dante when it would snow, running and face planting and full speed ahead!

Tuki didn’t like it as much, he was very cold…brrrr!

Awww,  windy wintery days, crunchy snow and frisky horses, who could ask for more! Indy and Rain enjoying our cold morning in the pasture. Rain gave some great expressions, especially the wink and the tongue sticking out

We’ve been having unusual weather here in the good ol PNW and yesterday was a cold and snowy day. It started out dark and dreary then around 7pm we had this wonderful clearing above the mountains overlooking our property.
