If you remember “Tuki the Chicken Herder” video then you’ll remember just how much he loved his “Chick Chicks”. Well without much details the “Chick Chicks” have since passed and even though he visits the coop often in hopes that he will see his beloved “Chick Chicks” we decide it was time to tear it down and rebuild.

So this afternoon Rick went out with the Kubota and started the process.

As Tuki laid sound asleep on his pillow he was awakened by the sounds of wood cracking/breaking and wire being stretched and ripped, producing screeching and ear shreeking noises.

I let him outside and he immediately ran over to investigate. He was shaking and yelping for his little “Chick Chicks”. I ran out after him and picked him up trying to console him.

After calming him down I took him inside and promised that once the coop was rebuilt we would get him some more “Chick Chicks”.

I cant wait til he meets the new “Chick Chicks”. Watch the video of Tuki herding his “Chick Chicks”!

It seems like it’s been so long since I’ve blogged…

Here is a quick one from today; Tuki just has the “watcha lookin at” attitude, it’s amazing he is only 3.7lbs and yet still full of himself!

Now you know why I love him

I cannot believe I forgot to post this awhile back. This was my lame attempt at studio lighting on my DIY product table; however even though the lighting is all wrong he still looks like a supermodel! I guess I better start practicing again.

The bomber jacket makes him look soo tough!

Rio was being really cute today when I was taking test shots with the Nikon D90, 18-105mm kit I received in the mail a couple days ago.

Oh yeah, there are a couple of Tuki also being cute!

BTW, I will write a full post later on just how I was able to get my grubby lil mitts on the D90 later on this week

So last night I unpacked some lights to sell on ebay and decided to take some quick shots of Tuki, I think he was a bit annoyed with this huge light pointed in his face but he still looks cute as ever!

All shots taken with Nikon D80 and 18mm – 55mm lens with a Smith Victor flood light, both light and camera handheld.

Today was absolutely gorgeous! 60 degrees, sunny, warm and we hiked along the river trail behind the property

Tuki was very anxious to get out that he would not let me get a single thing done until after our hike.
