Rick Tuki and I spend the day on the San Juan Island exploring. We visited the Lighthouse at Lime Kiln State Park and explored the American and British Camp. Here is the story of the Pig War, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pig_War

Jorge, Elly, Emilio and I headed out for a scenic drive up HWY2, we had planned on hiking Deception Falls but it was closed due to the fires. We parked and I let the kids hop out to see the falls, take some quick shots and then we headed over to Big Eddy and finally making our way to Wallace Falls for a quick hike before heading home.

I was just in the barn in a tank top cleaning stalls, and then this hit out of no where…guess you never can tell what the weather is going to be like in Western, WA. It is really true when they say it changes every 10 minutes…I luv it!

Walking back from feeding the duckies I was soo privileged to witness the sun breaking through the mist and clouds to let me have this quick snapshot over the barn. Wish the horses had stuck their heads out of there stalls.

Tempatures have been colder than ever…Rick decided to join me on my 5 mile jog/walk this morning…here are some pics from today!
